Third session of ICF Online Discussion: Nuclear fusion (Dec. 24)
We invited Mr. Ino from Kyoto Fusioneering Ltd., a startup originating from Kyoto University, to share the company’s initiatives in the fusion energy industry. He also introduced FAST, a domestic power generation demonstration project led by the company.
Following the presentation, participants discussed topics such as the need for extensive technological development across various domains, the intensification of efforts to establish a domestic fusion energy supply chain as an industry, and the challenges and importance of securing substantial funding for the long-term, large-scale projects required for realization of the goal.
Moving forward, ICF plans to promote co-creation activities that expand the foundation of Japan’s fusion energy supply chain and contribute to the growth of the new energy supply market.

Fourth session of ICF Online Discussion (Jan. 30)
We will hold an online discussion on resolving societal issues through co-creation between corporations and NPOs. We believe that as companies and NPOs grow closer in addressing societal issues, creating opportunities for co-creation between the two can generate collective impact, leading to social innovation and sustainable initiatives for solving societal challenges. With that thought in mind, we will discuss the significance and potential of collaboration and co-creation between companies and NPOs.
