Report on the Carbon Credit Deep-Dive Workshop on June 12
This is the kick-off event for the “Carbon Credit (Decarbonization Acceleration Lab Activities)” introduced at the Co-Creation PoC Briefing in May. Thank you to the approximately 150 participants (including in-person and online) who join us. Early movers in this field who are actually procuring or utilizing carbon credit in their business took the stage, and through a panel discussion they explored the significance of early efforts, future market prospects, and methods of persuasion within the company.
Details of the next event, scheduled for late August, will be announced separately based on feedback from the survey conducted on the day of the event. If there are any topics that you would like to discuss, please feel free to contact the ICF Secretariat so that we can refer to them for event planning.
“Life Career * Healthcare Course for Women through Industry-Academia Collaboration” launched
-Aiming to Promote the Advancement of Women and Expanding Recurrent Education for Non-regular and Unemployed Women-
“Advancement of Women” is one of the important societal issues highlighted in the “Listings of Societal Issues” and the “Business Acceleration Program (BAP)” Based on the outcomes of these activities, we have decided to operate a university course on a trial basis to promote the advancement of women.
Sugiyama Jogakuen, Calendrie Co., Ltd., and Mitsubishi Research Institute have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a course on a trial basis that aim at improving women’s employee motivation as well as their employment status. We plan to invite participants and evaluate the effectiveness of the course and the possibility of business collaboration through co-creation.
We will share the results of the evaluation and aim to expand this co-creation activity with ICF members. We look forward to the participation of companies and local governments that are interested in promoting the advancement of women.
