ICF Co-Creation Activity Report Meeting (Feb. 19)
At Ritsumeikan Osaka-umekita Open Innovation Terrace (ROOT), ICF presented on the twelve co-creation activities of the fiscal year 2024.
The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition has introduced an overview of the Expo and highlighted four key attractions from a business perspective. To promote the ICF member network in the Kansai region, representatives from four active member companies and organizations in Kansai also presented their initiatives.

Fifth session of ICF Online Discussion: Utilization of Robots (Feb. 27 and Feb. 28)
In this online discussion, we focused on “robots” as a key technology for resolving various societal issues and discussed their development trends and application methods.
The event, consisting of two short discussions, was held over two days. Day 1 focused on community development and had a presentation by Mr. Izawa from HATAPRO, INC., a company that works on the development of AI, IoT, and robots to solve the challenges faced by community residents. Day 2 focused on agriculture and had Mr. Hishiki from inaho Inc., who works on the development of harvesting robots, presenting the business and future vision of his company. In the free discussion session, we also explored advancing business partnerships with various stakeholders and the importance of cost-effectiveness in the product and service development.

Sixth session of ICF Online Discussion: Co-Creation Ecosystems in Manufacturing (Mar. 26)
We will hold an online discussion themed “Co-Creation Ecosystems in Manufacturing.”
We will introduce up-to-date information on business co-creation ecosystems through the presentations from the open-innovation platforms of two of Japan’s leading manufacturing companies, Co-Creation Park – KAWARUBA created by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and Yokohama Hardtech Hub (YHH) created by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.

Carbon Credit Deep-Dive Workshop Reflection Discussion -Reflection on the past DDWs and discussion on future actions- (Apr. 14)
As a concluding session for the previous three Deep-Dive Workshops held last year, we will provide a digest of the key insights gathered through past presentations and discussions. In addition, we will invite previous speakers to discuss the next steps that contribute to the development of carbon credit market.
In the second half, there will be a “floor discussion” session with participants, and we look forward to you joining us.

ICF General Assembly 2025 (hybrid event) (Apr. 22)
The ICF General Assembly 2025 will be held at the start of the new fiscal year in April.
The event will feature an overview of ICF’s activity plans for the new fiscal year. It will also introduce the creation process of the “Listings of Societal Issues 2025” and invite short pitches by newly joined ICF members. All participants who join the event in person will receive the printed booklet of the listings (Japanese version).
A networking session will also be held after the event, so we look forward to seeing you in person!

Member-only website scheduled to be published in late March
We will launch a member-only website (in Japanese) to provide access to archived videos and materials related to ICF activities.
To our members, we will notify you of the access along with your ID and password as soon as it is ready.
The Listings of Societal Issues 2025 (scheduled to be published on March 28)
The Listings of Societal Issues 2025 is scheduled to be published in March. In addition to updating the contents of the six categories from the previous version, we are working on adding a new area, “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I).”
We plan to distribute booklets of the listings at the ICF General Assembly on April 22. For this time, only Japanese version is available, while English introduction materials will also be created at a later date.
